This course introduces students to the fundamentals of the phonology of English with the emphasis on the development of listening and speaking skills. It also introduces them to the techniques of oral comprehension as well as the presentation of thoughts, ideas and arguments. The course explores the building blocks of the language, covering aspects such as phonetics, semantics and pragmatics.
